Care & Maintenance

To preserve the beauty, colour, and craftsmanship of your SAHANI’S piece—just as stunning as day one:

  • Dry clean only. Avoid machine or hand washing.
  • Do not wring, scrub, or soak the fabric.
  • Store folded in soft tissue or muslin cloth to protect delicate weaves and embellishments.
  • Keep in a dry, well-ventilated space. Zari and natural fibres may react to humidity and weather changes.
  • Avoid direct contact with perfumes, deodorants, or hairspray.
  • Air the saree every few months by unfolding it briefly in a shaded area—never in direct sunlight.
  • Refold periodically to prevent permanent creases and fabric stress.
  • Handle with care. Each piece is crafted with artisanal techniques and deserves gentle love.

❗ Important Disclaimer

SAHANI’S does not provide guarantees or warranties on:

  • Embellishments such as embroidery, beads, sequins, stones, or other decorative elements
  • Fabric durability, texture variations, or colour changes after use or cleaning
  • Garments that have been altered, stitched, or customised after purchase

🧵 What You Need to Know

  • Minor shedding of sequins, beads, or embroidery is completely normal—especially in festive or designer sarees.
  • During tailoring or blouse stitching, your local tailor can easily reinforce, reposition, or conceal areas with loose embellishments.
  • A quick professional touch-up often makes your saree look brand new again.
  • If you’re considering a return solely due to light embellishment fall, please note that even a replacement may feature similar handcrafted detailing—it’s part of the beauty and uniqueness of artisanal pieces.

🔄 Before You Return…

We highly recommend consulting your local tailor to see if the concern can be resolved. In most cases, it’s a minor tweak—and your saree will be ready to dazzle just as intended.
